Find answers to common questions about FutureElite.
1. How do I export a PDF report?
To export a PDF report:
- Go to your Dashboard
- Click "Season Tracker Report" for a comprehensive report, or "Scout Report" for a scouting-focused report
- The PDF will be generated and downloaded to your device
- You can then share the PDF with coaches, scouts, or anyone you choose
Note: PDF generation requires an active subscription (paid plans) or may have limits on the free tier.
2. How do I delete my data?
You can delete your data in several ways:
- Clear All Data: Use the "Clear Data" function in Settings (if available) to remove all player data
- Clear Browser Data: Clear your browser's local storage/cache to remove all locally stored data
- Delete Account: Contact support to delete your account, which will remove all associated data
Important: Data is stored locally on your device. Once cleared, it cannot be recovered unless you have exported a PDF backup.
3. What is PHV (Peak Height Velocity)?
PHV (Peak Height Velocity) is the period during adolescence when a child grows fastest in height. It's an important indicator for:
- Understanding growth patterns
- Timing training and development programs
- Predicting adult height

4. Who should use FutureElite?
FutureElite is designed for:
- Parents and Guardians: To track their child's athletic development and create professional reports
- Youth Athletes: (with parent/guardian supervision) to document their progress
- Coaches: To help players create comprehensive performance reports
Accounts should be created and managed by adults (18+). The app is not intended for direct use by children without adult supervision.
5. How do subscriptions work?
FutureElite offers:
- Free Tier: Limited features with usage limits
- Monthly Subscription: Full access, billed monthly
- Annual Subscription: Full access, billed annually with discount

6. How do I cancel my subscription?
Cancellation depends on where you subscribed:
- Web: Cancel through the Stripe Customer Portal (accessible from your Subscription page) or contact support
- iOS: Cancel through Settings → [Your Name] → Subscriptions → FutureElite
- Android: Cancel through Google Play Store → Subscriptions → FutureElite
Cancellation takes effect at the end of your current billing period. You retain access until then.
7. Are reports accepted by scouts and coaches?
FutureElite reports are professional documents designed to present player information clearly. However:
- Acceptance depends on individual scouts, coaches, and clubs
- Reports are tools for communication, not guarantees of interest
- Scout evaluation depends on many factors beyond what can be captured in reports

8. How is my data stored and protected?
FutureElite uses a privacy-first approach:
- Local Storage: All player data is stored locally on your device, not on our servers
- No Permanent Server Storage: Player data is not permanently stored on our servers
- PDF Generation: PDFs are generated temporarily and immediately sent to you
- Account Security: Passwords are encrypted and never stored in plain text

9. How are photos handled?
Photos uploaded to FutureElite:
- Are stored locally on your device
- Are only included in PDF reports you choose to generate
- Are not stored permanently on our servers
- Can be removed by deleting them from your device or clearing app data
We recommend using appropriate photos (action shots, team photos) and avoiding photos that reveal personal information.
10. Can I add highlight reel links?
Yes! You can add highlight reel links (YouTube, social media, etc.) in Settings:
- Go to Settings
- Scroll to "Player Media & Links"
- Add your highlight reel URLs
- These links will be included in your Scout Reports
11. What if PDF export isn't working?
If PDF export fails, try:
- Check your internet connection
- Ensure you have an active subscription (if required)
- Try refreshing the page and trying again
- Clear your browser cache and try again
- Contact support if the issue persists
12. Can I share reports with coaches?
Yes! Once you generate a PDF report, you can share it with anyone:
- Download the PDF to your device
- Share via email, messaging apps, or file sharing services
- Print and share physical copies
Remember: You control who receives reports. Only share with people you trust and have verified.
13. How do I request a feature?
